BMW i100 Coupe Active Hybrid – an eco racing car coming in 2013
The i100 is designed as a plug-in hybrid and will be able to drive 15 to 50 kilometers on electric motor. Auto Bild reports that the i100 will feature a three-cylinder direct injection engine, most likely a diesel unit similar to the one found in the Vision Concept, producing 165 to 185 horsepower. For the U.S. market, BMW might offer a four-cylinder powerplant as well. Unlike the competition, the BMW will offer room for four passengers.

BMW 1 Series Launch in September
BMW is currently the number one luxury car maker in India. BMW is defending the number crown through introducing various new models. Most important launch for BMW in 2013 is the 1 series hatch back. BMW has already announced that 1 series will come to India. Now the BMW India president Mr. Philipp Von Sahr has confirmed that 1 series hatch back will be launched in September. He has also pointed out that the 1 series hatch back will be assembled at the Chennai Plant. Now BMW is assembling most of the cars in its portfolio in the Chennai Plant. Recently Mini models have also started assembling in India. Government has increased the duties on CBU vehicles. So Assembling the models in India will give them price advantage over its rivals.
BMW hasn’t given any details about the engine line up for 1 series in India. Globally 1 series comes with a wide variety of engine options both Petrol and Diesel. Also in Manual or Automatic transmission. Can we expect BMW to launch 1 series in a manual transmission. There is possibilities for the manual transmission which will make the 1 series a little cheaper. Biggest Competitor for 1 series in India is Mercedes Benz A Class. Mercedes will launch the A Class next month. if competition hot up we are sure that Audi will bring the A3 hatch back to India. Luxury Hatch back war will decide who will get the number one position in our Luxury car market.

2012 BMW K1600GT GTL Price and Release
When BMW announced it was building the most advanced six-cylinder touring motorcycle on the market, anticipation immediately began.
BMW fans, especially those in the touring segment, wanted every bit of information available regarding the 2012 BMW K 1600 GT and K 1600 GTL motorcycles.
The German manufacturer pleased these motorcyclists to some extent when it began trickling information in late 2010, but knowledge like feature packages and pricing were kept hush.
That was until Monday, when BMW Motorrad USA released the latest feature packages and pricing on the K 1600 GT and K 1600 GTL.
As for pricing on these motorcycles that will be available through authorized BMW Motorrad USA dealers this spring, the K1600GT will have a MSRP of $20,900, while the K1600GTL will have a MSRP of $23,200. (additional destination charge of $495 is
not included in MSRP).Following are some features that are built into each model. But first, some basic facts about these touring bikes.
The 2012 six-cylinder BMW K 1600 GT and GTL motorcycles will offer the most advanced technology available in the touring segment. Here are a few innovations built into the BMW motorcycles:
The worlds lightest and most compact six-cylinder engine on a production motorcycle. At 226 lbs (including clutch, gearbox and alternator) and less than 22 inches wide, the six-cylinder engine in the K 1600 models is comparable in size to four-cylinder power plants.
The worlds first Xenon adaptive headlight on a motorcycle. Innovative electronics automatically compensate for the lean angle around corners and ensure the beam of the headlight is always directed at the road ahead.
The worlds most advanced audio and communications system on a motorcycle. Bluetooth for wireless communication, Sirius satellite radio with a complimentary 12-month subscription, integration for iPod, USB stick and auxiliary input, AM/FM tuner, pre-wired for Navigator 4.
A multi-controller on the left-hand grip, which allows riders to operate the motorcycles systems and adjust its settings without taking their hands off the bars.

BMW 7 series Facelift arrives next year
BMW 7 Series facelift was already unveiled to the global audience.BMW have started selling the 7series facelift in many countries.India is one of the next countries which will get the 7 series facelift.Current generation BMW 7 series has been well received by the Indian customers.BMW wants to build the success of it with the new model also.BMW recently started assembling 7 series in India.Reducing the price tag and attracting even more buyers.We expected the 7 series facelift to arrive in 2012.But BMW delayed the car for next year.So we get the 7 series facelift in March 2013.
