California is Going to have a new engine and this is the First Turbo charged version.
According to latest information It will Hit the market by 2014-2015.
Here is the brief details of the next generation Ferrari california according to the one
caught at test. Its heard that this will also be a V8 with turbo charger and its likely to be
the same V8 now at production in Maranello. According to the lookers the raised bonet and
extra cooling wents may be a sign of tubo engine with taller package that require more
under-bonet space. The new exhaust set up is also noted.
Its said that this will be a Twin turbo 3.8 litre V8 which used in Quattroporte recently.
But we canot confirm that Ferrari will use the same capacity. Ferrari is looking for
down sized engines to meet together exhaust and emission tests, so it may be a V6
after the 1968 Dino. However The chances are For the 3.8 V8 in Quattroporte
which already has an output of 523 hp . The First generation was launched in 2009.
And Ferrari Replacing all their Mid engined cars in 5 years but in case of California
Experts are suggesting 6 year cycle.
