2012 Singapore GP Sebastian Vettel win again
Sebastian Vettel won the 2012 Singapore Grand prix for the second time.He won it last time also.This is the second time Vettel won in 2012 season.Jenson Button finished in second position.Fernando Alonso finished in thrid place.This help Alonso to stay ahead in the championship.
But the big disappoint in Singapore GP is Lewis Hamilton who started from pole.He retired due to a Gearbox failure.Hamilton retired in the 24th lap.Handing the lead to Sebastian Vettel.Battle between Alonso and Maldonado was heating up.But then safety car came out due to karthikeyan accident in turn 18.This brought the safety car out and most of them made their pitstops.But alonso stayed out.Maldonado was struggling and he also stopped for tyres.But Pastor Maldonado has to retire after few laps due to Hydraulic problems.Paul di Resta finished in 4 th place.Which was his best finish ever since he joined Force India previous best was 6th place.Rosberg and Raikkonen finished in 5 th and 6th place.both of them started fighting from the start to the finish line.Grosjean finished in 7th place.This time he has a perfect race.Then Massa finished in 8th place.On the first lap his tyres got punctured and droped to the last position.After aggressive driving and amazing overtakes earns him the position.Ricciardo and webber finished in 9th and 10 place.who got the final points.
Then there is some carshes.after the safety car race re started.On the turn 14 Schumacher has some throttle problem and ran in to the back of Vergne’s toro rosso.This again brought out the safety car.At the last couple of laps there was so many battles were going around.Then Hulkenberg ambitious overtaking on Kobayashi ended in bad for both.Hulkenburg rear tyre hitted Kobayashi front wing.This resulted in punctured tyre for Hulkenburg and front wing loss for Kobayashi.All in all Singapore GP was so exciting.There was so many overtaking.At the end Hamilton is the big looser who lost so many points to Alonso.Alonso lead is reduced to 29 points.There are 5 Grand pries to go for the 2012 season.Now formula one moves to japan.japan GP take place in Suzuka in 7th october.And there is good news that Singapore GP has extended its contract with FIA for another 5 years.
