Nissan Price Hike in November
Nissan will hike the prices of selected models across the range.Auto Industry has seen a good growth in the festival season.Most of the companies are planning for a price.But delayed due to the festival season.Nissan hiked the prices because of the rising input cost.Because of the increasing fuel price hike transportation charges also increased very high.Nissan hiked the prices of both Micra hatch back and Sunny sedan.
Commenting on the price increase, Mr. Nitish Tipnis, Director – Sales & Marketing, Hover Automotive India said, “The prices are being revised to partially offset appreciation in input and transportation costs. While all leading automobile companies raised prices earlier this year, we at Nissan absorbed rising input costs and held back the price hike. Although we have now reached the stage where we have to make an adjustment, I can assure all customers that both Micra and Sunny will continue to represent outstanding value within the market.”
One of the good thing is that they hadnt hiked the price of Evalia.Which is giving good volumes for Nissan.Nissan has doubled the sales figures from the last because of the new models.Nissan is also increasing the dealer network.Currently Nissan has 75 they will open 95 before the end of this financial year.
